Mustard Seed MAZE – Sociedade de Capital de Risco, S.A. hereby informs all investors of its fund under management, the Mustard Seed MAZE VC Fund I – Fundo Fechado de Capital de Risco, that it signed a protocol in cooperation with the Portuguese regulator, the Comissão do Mercado dos Valores Mobiliários (“CMVM”), which formalizes the understanding between the CMVM and the signatory institutions, which carry out activities related to the management of undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS) and/or alternative investment funds (AIFs), including any ancillary and additional activities they perform, with the aim of ensuring that the signatory institutions accept the use of ADR mechanisms whenever the claim of the participant (or potential participant) or client – who is a consumer – has not been fully satisfied following a prior complaint submitted by that individual to the signatory institution and to the CMVM.
This protocol is applicable to the resolution of disputes through ADR mechanisms whenever the dispute in question concerns activities related to the management of collective investment schemes or additional and ancillary activities for which the signatory institutions are authorised, and where the amount in dispute does not exceed €30,000.00 (thirty thousand euros).
